Not Seeing, Yet
Believing

Thomas is infamous for having to see to believe,
Jesus accommodated Him
and granted him a reprieve;
For Jesus knows in our
humanness we are only dust.
Who better than our
Creator to have an understanding of us?
Then the Lord said to
Thomas that he believed because he had seen
But that greater
blessing lay in store for those who’d be made clean
Because they chose to
believe and trust a Savior not seen with their eyes.
Praise the Lord that
His Holy Spirit opened our hearts to be wise,
To be able to
recognize Jesus without the opportunity to behold Him.
Because the apostles
shared His gospel just as Jesus told them.
