Joy Overflowing

When my focus is on the Father’s will

And not on how my coffers to fill,

When I pray in keeping with what Jesus taught

And glorifying God is my foremost thought,

Those are the prayers He is certain to hear.

When I abide in Jesus and to Him draw near,

The Lord will change my heart’s desire.

My joy will escalate when I am on fire

To know and serve and enjoy my Father,

For He will assure me I’m His precious daughter.

There’s no greater joy than the Father’s pleasure

He assures me I am a jewel that He treasures.
