“As you come to him,
the living Stone –
rejected by men but chosen by God
and precious to him – you also, like living stones,
are being built into a spiritual house
to be a holy priesthood,
offering spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
For in Scripture it says:
rejected by men but chosen by God
and precious to him – you also, like living stones,
are being built into a spiritual house
to be a holy priesthood,
offering spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
For in Scripture it says:
‘See, I lay a stone
in Zion ,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who
trusts in him
will never be put to shame.’”
will never be put to shame.’”

Each flower
above is cute; but when they grow together to form instant bouquets, they are
spectacular. We are called to Christ as individuals, but then he fashions us
into a church. Every one of us has a purpose, but we are to work together to
accomplish Kingdom goals.
Father, fit me into your house, your body, to put
the abilities and gifts you have bestowed on me to their best use. Help me to
remember that I am not to be a loner in your service but am to work together
with my brothers and sisters.
